Lord Henry (The Picture of Dorian Gray Ch VIII)
so far my website layout looks fine on chrome and firefox, and is messed up looking on internet explorer.

I love people’s use of GIFs on Tumblr.
I believe it could be considered an art form.
Well, it was bound to happen eventually. I’ve followed blogs, commented on them, scoffed at them, and corrected them, so it only makes sense that I should have one of my own. I just didn’t expect it to be mandatory for a class! So here we go, taking the first of many steps into the virtual realm of the Blog.
oh my gawddd i’m so excited you has a tumblr! YAYYY!
I don’t know why when people go from “in a relationship” to “single” people are always like
“I’m sorry to hear that”
”:(“
“that sux!!!”
I mean, really guys. Usually people break up because there’s a problem or they’re unhappy or it just isn’t working out. So a lot of times it’s good news.
Plus, when people make comments like that, it insinuates that the person was better off when they were dating that person. Like now they are at a disadvantage.
Comforting 101 states that to reassure someone, you should let them know that their relationship doesn’t define them, and that they’re better off, and that they’ll find someone who’s a better match one day, etc. Even if you don’t think these things are true, these are still the things you comfort someone with, haha.
PLUS, there’s the obvious thing of why on earth would you comment on someone’s relationship status??? That is so awkward. Just… why. It’s so insensitive. If you really cared about the person, you call them or text them or send them a private message, not throw them a pity party right in front of all their Facebook friends.
I just realized that this is much similar to a rant Louis C.K. did in someone stand-up about how divorce is always a good thing and you should congratulate people on it, LOL

i mean, if this guy comes up to you and asks if you want to make a public declaration friendship… what can you say?
